This is what’s coming up:

Our Boosterthon Fun Run Event begins Monday, November 2!


We begin with a Pep Rally where we will have the award winning Bob Jones Drumline perform!

I am looking forward to hearing them!

Goal:  $25,000
Why?  To purchase additional computers

Our Chromebook carts are awesome and we need more!  We would love to have one chromebook cart for every grade level.

Veteran’s Day Honor 

We will be honoring all parents, grandparents etc. and community members who are Veterans on Monday November 9 at 7:40 in the gym.  If you are a current or retired Veteran and able to attend, please contact Mrs. Wendy Tibbs at 256-837-1189 or wtibbs@madisoncity.k12.al.us.  Everyone is asked to wear red, white and blue. Breakfast will be served in the library following the ceremony.

 Kindergarten Buddy Program
This program was started by our former PE teacher, Miss Joy Brindley and carried on by Mrs. Daughtery.  The PE teacher matches the K student with the 6th grade buddy.  They do numerous activities together during the year.  This is an awesome program.  Everyone loves it.  True student mentoring at it’s best!

We have reached our goal for St. Jude.  We have raised almost $2300.  We reached our goal and surpassed it because of you.  Thank you so much.  
The principals and I will be running on Dec. 6.  I will post pictures.

We had members of the Bob Jones High School Baseball team come this morning to help us with our buses. 

The kids were so excited as they got off the bus. 

Let’s support our feeder school, Bob Jones tonight at 5:00 for the Homecoming Parade and the game against Huntsville High tomorrow night. 
The parade will begin at Portal Lane and proceed down Hughes Rd. to BJHS.

Tomorrow we will have members of the football team!

It is Fall Break – I pray you are enjoying your day!

Congratulations to Mrs. Wolfe!
She was chosen to be a recipient of the LAMP award for Alabama Library Media Specialists

 We are so proud of Mrs. Wolfe.  She is the best Librarian.  She and Mrs. Moe truly make our Library the best in the system.  

Did you attend the Madison Street Festival?  Is was a great day.  Several of our students were in the parade.




Students were in for a treat on Friday before Fall Break.  Daniel, one of our students, and an award winning member of the Southern States Gymnastic Studio showed the kids several moves.  

Parachutes in PE!  They were always so fun when I had PE in elementary school.

We have raised over $1000 for the children of St. Jude.

We have several teachers who have already reached their goal:

We have others that are very close.  I think I will be participating in a few PE classes.  🙂 


The Madison City Principals are running a Marathon Relay to raise money for St. Jude Research Hospital.  

We will begin our fundraising event on Monday September 28-Oct. 23.  

Check out my fundraising page.  Look for special events to help raise money in the coming week!

School Goal:  $2000

Class Goal:  K-3  $80    4-6  $100

If the class reaches their class goal, the class will receive a 
popcorn party!


If all classes in the grade level reach their goal, I will 

participate in PE with each grade level!
