Space Week at West Madison.  Everyone had an enjoyable week!

 

Highlights from Space Week

On Tuesday, Mr. Brelsford and his wife came to take the kids through his planetarium.  It was awesome.  The kids really enjoyed it.  Each class went inside the planetarium where they saw the different planets and constellations.

 

On Friday, we had engineering students from Bob Jones and UAH to conduct a weather balloon launch.

 

 

After the balloon launch, we had an alien parade!

 

Swetha was recognized at the March Board Meeting, Chess Champions!

 

It was a wonderful week!

Look What’s Happening at West Madison

Thank you to all the parents of PTA who helped with the Book Fair.  Our students bought lots of books.

Congratulations to these 5th grade students who participated in the Science Fair at UAH!

 

 

We are so proud of our students all 9 students had to stand for 1 1/2 hours yesterday with their projects and be questioned by judges.

Very Proud of their 4th Place Win at Bishop’s Bash!

Congratulations to our Math Team.  They won 3rd place at the Hoover Tournament.

They were 3rd out of 15 teams!

Also Congratulations to Mike and Yashas!

Mike was 5th and Yashas 10th!

Awesome Job!  We are very proud of them!

A group of students from Bob Jones who were 3rd graders in our first Dr. Seuss Cafe’ came back to participate.  It was great seeing them.  They are in the 9th grade now!
